A Balanced Investment in the Future
The Next Century Fund is structured as a hybrid model designed for both permanence and flexibility:

50% to Endowment
Half of every investment strengthens United Way’s permanent endowment, providing long-term stability and ensuring our mission endures for generations.

50% to Strategic Readiness
The remaining half supports a flexible fund used to address emerging needs, invest in innovation, and respond quickly to community challenges over the coming years.

Together, this approach builds both lasting security and forward-looking agility.

The Strategic Readiness portion of the Next Century Fund allows us to:
