Open Call for Volunteers and Projects
Heart of Indiana United Way mobilizes communitites to action so all can thrive. From strengthen local resilience to advancing health, youth opportunity and financial security, we are working everyday to make our community a better place for everyone to live, work, and raise a family.
But we don’t do it alone. We rely on neighbors’ generous gifts of time, talent, and service to bring our community together and make a real difference in people’s lives. That’s why Heart of Indiana United Way is calling on the community to join us on October 2nd for Day of Caring, an annual event that mobilizes the caring power of volunteers to create positive change in our own backyard.
Volunteering
When volunteers pack food read to students, revitalize community spaces, or assemble essential kits, they help make Henry County a more caring, cohesive, and thriving community for everyone.
Workplaces
Day of Caring is a great way for companies to live their values and strengthen the communities where their employees live and work. We’re grateful for the local businesses and employers who encourage their teams to volunteer. Their leadership helps build a culture of service that extends far beyond the workplace.
It’ll be a great day- and a fun, interactive way to give back alongside your friends, family and neighbors. Please join us.
